Surgery is close to an end!

It is 8:57am.  Almost an hour since surgery started.  We just received word that they are closing up Eliana.  The surgeon should be out here soon.  I'm looking forward to hearing from him and then seeing our little girl!

We should be taken to the PACU (post-anesthesia care unit) to see her.

I added one photo below if you haven't yet seen it.  More later.  Thank you for praying!

Love,

Leslie

  1. I can't tell you how moving this photo is to see. It makes me want to cry seeing your sweet precious baby here ready for surgery. I know this must have been so HARD! God is holding all of you close to His heart. ((((Eliana and Leslie))))

    Thank you for this picture

  2. Leslie, I know you have endured much sorrow and pain and heartache for your baby. Remember, Jesus carried our sorrows and griefs, so He doesn't want us to embrace sorrow to the point of getting overwhelmed by it. I know it has been a hard difficult road. I want to take these burdens from you. And that is when I remembered that Jesus already did carry them! What an awesome Saviour we have! Praising God for enabling her to take in nourishment, protecting her and healing her thru these skilled surgeons, and the heart surgeons.

I so appreciate the comfort you were able to give to the couple this morning. That sounds so much like you, my friend!
