I have thought many times how hard it would be to have a child with Type 1. I'm Type 2 and it is SO much easier, though I still have to think about everything I eat and be careful. I'm not on insulin so doing the low carb thing to prevent highs. I have a friend with 2 Type 1 children and it is a struggle. The Lord can give wisdom and direction and I pray that He will do that, and also encourage your heart as you help your son towards tighter control.<br> I am so thankful for glucose monitors.
